I'm a neurodivergent artist living with me/cfs. My purpose in life is to make things more beautiful. I love crafting and creating things that makes me happy. Being conscious of how we consume things, I like to repurpose materials and give them a second life. I use a mix of deadstock, salvaged, upcycled and new materials. I create mindfully combined fabrics into little pieces of art. That makes each piece one of a kind and unique. Just like you my friend
Before me/cfs I had my own yoga and bellydance studio (Deva Divine) – it gave me immense joy to help other women feel good in their bodies. But one day everything changed. It took me a few years to readjust. Despite the challenges, I still yearned to bring beauty into the world. So, on good days I taught myself how to sew. It gave me a reason to stay strong. And slowly, one stitch at a time, Lausie Art was born. And it is my sincere hope that by sharing my little imperfect, artsy wonky world with you, a little bit of this is transferred to you.
